There are two programs, PhreeqcI and Phreeqc For Windows, but I'm assuming
you are downloading PhreeqcI version 2.6.1. This file (PhreeqcI261.exe)
should be 10949586 bytes. If your download is not this size, you have not
gotten a clean copy of the program.
If the size is correct, then I'm not sure. On some systems, administrator
privileges are needed, but that doesn't sound like your problem. So
download the file again, check the size, and try to run it. If you are
still having problems, write back and we'll try to figure it out.

Hello,
We are trying to download PHREEQC 2.6 for windows: the executable launches
and then an error message saying the file is corrupt comes up and it
closes. We tried it on a Windows98 and a WindowsNT machine. Any ideas?
