OUIObject User Interface (OUI) - Version 2.0.0 The Object User Interface (OUI) is a map-based framework for models and modeling data. It provides a common interface for running models, as well as acquiring, browsing, organizing, displaying, and selecting spatial and temporal data. As environmental-resource modeling has evolved, data availability and requirements, as well as the increased sophistication of algorithms that simulate the physical processes, have resulted in much more complex model setups. Organization of modeling projects can influence the success of these projects as much as any other factor. In addition, the necessity of effective and timely communication of simulation results has a great impact on the success of modeling projects. OUI was developed by the U.S. Geological Survey as a tool for addressing these issues.
