ABSTRACT

This report presents a summary of data collected during April and August 1993 and September 1994 as part of a study to quantify the interaction of dissolved organic matter, referred to here as dissolved organic carbon (DOC), with dissolved metal ions. The work was done in conjunction with the Nevada Basin and Range study unit of the U.S. Geological Survey, National Water-Quality Assessment Program (NAWQA).

Samples were collected from ground-water wells in and about the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, and were analyzed for selected major, minor and trace constituents. Analyses of blank and reference samples are summarized as mean and standard deviation values for all positive results.
