Figures
- Figure 1.A Mercury species distribution in surface water collected in South Florida
Water Management District, Water Conservation Area 2 A at site U 3 in December 1995.
The figure shows the pH dependence of speciation (expressed as a percent of the total
dissolved mercury in solution) calculated using WHAM and PHREEQC (MINTEQ database modified
to match the species present in the WHAM database).
- Figure 1.B Mercury speciation in surface water collected in South Florida Water Management
District Water Conservation Area 2 A site U 3 in December 1995. The figure shows the pH
dependence of speciation (expressed as a percent of the total dissolved mercury in solution)
calculated using WHAM and PHREEQC (MINTEQ database unmodified).
- Figure 2.A Mercury species distribution in surface water collected in South Florida
Water Management District Water Conservation Area 2 A site U 3 in December 1995.
The figure shows the pH dependence of speciation (as a percent of the total dissolved
mercury in solution) calculated using the WHAM computer program at several DOC concentrations.

- Figure 2.C DOC - 35.4 mg/L.
