To draw an open contour, click the 
button.Contours are represented either as polygons (for closed contours) or polylines (for open contours).
Before you begin, make sure that the appropriate data is selected in the "Active Data" Selector.
1. To draw a closed contour, click the button.
To draw an open contour, click the button.
2. Draw the contour (polygon or polyline) by clicking on its vertices. (Click with left mouse button.)
3. Double click the last vertex. The "Contour Value" dialog box is displayed.
4. Enter the value of the contour in the dialog box.
5. Click OK.
