Zooming and Stretching the Display
Zooming
- Zooming enables you to magnify or shrink the display.
- To zoom in or out, first click the button so it appears
depressed.
- To zoom in (magnify), place the cursor on the display and click the left mouse button.
The display will be magnified 1.5 times and centered at the clicked point.
- To zoom out (shrink), place the cursor on the display and click the right mouse button.
The display will be reduced by 1.5 times and centered at the clicked point.
- Another way to zoom in is to press and hold the left mouse button, drag the
curson to draw a rectangle, and then release the mouse button. The drawing is magnified
to fill the rectangle.
- To zoom out to the unmagnified view, hold down the "Shift" key and click on the drawing
with the left mouse button.
Stretching
- You can stretch the display in the horizontal or vertical direction to achieve
more accurate graphical interaction.
- To stretch the display, first click the button so it
appears depressed.
- To stretch the display in the horizontal direction, hold down the
"Shift" key, press the left mouse button and drag a horizontal line over the portion
of the drawing you want to stretch.(see figure)
- To stretch the display in the vertical direction, hold down the
"Shift" key, press the left mouse button and drag a vertical line over the portion
of the drawing you want to stretch.(see figure)
- To restore the unstretched view, hold down the "Shift" key and click on the drawing
with the left mouse button.
- Stretching is implemented only for the preprocessor.
