Setting "Corner Policy"

When boundary conditions are discretized, ambiguities might occur at corner cells where two different boundary conditions meet (See figure). You may set a "corner policy" to resolve these ambiguities.

Before you begin, make sure that "Boundary Condition" is selected in the "Active Data" Selector.

1. Click the "Edit" menu and select "Corner Policy..." The "Corner Policy" dialog box is displayed.

2. Select "Vertical boundary" if you wish to assign corner cells to vertical boundaries. Select "Horizontal boundary" if you wish to assign corner cells to horizontal boundaries.

3. Click "OK".

Note: A single corner policy applies to all recharge periods.
